1901 'CARSON' OXFORD

I bought these "greenish" pair of Oxford shoes at Nordstrom. It was hard to find a shoe like this for a price that kept me able to eat and drink for the rest of the holiday. No Alden cordovan's or McNary Long wings for me, but 1901 'Carson' Oxford for only US 99,95.

PIERREPOINT HICKS FALL 2010 LOOKBOOK

 The lookbook for the Fall/Winter collection was shot in Minnesota, giving us that perfect fall feeling with ties and bows from the Pierrepoint Hicks Hatchery line. This is an on-going serie of ties made from luxury fabrics, each tie is hand-stitched, some are hand-rolled at tips, some are manufactured in smaller runs because of the fabric is limited. All ties are made in New York

A Duffle coat is a short coat, with or without a hood, first worn during the Second World War by the men of the British Royal Navy. Cut to hip or kneelength, the coat was made of a heavy woollen felted material and fastened with rod-shaped wooden toggles that passed through rope or leatherloops. Surplus duffle coats were sold to the public after the war.
