CHAD'S STORELOCATOR: GANT RUGGER WILLIAMSBURG, NEW YORK

Of course I had to visit the Gant Store in Williamsburg, NY during my last trip.

The store is situated in a nice red brick building with industrial windows. One of the eye catchers is the rack above the gymstyle benches as you see in the second picture. The other eye catcher is the full operational kitchen inspired by the kitchen of Christopher Bastin I presume. The windows are decorated with plants as the Gant Rugger collection is called "Green Fingers" Everything is well decorated and presented with love to the brand and the product. GANT RUGGER HARAJUKU STORE

The very first GANT RUGGER flagship store of Asia is designed in the same concept as the GANT Rugger store in Brooklyn, NY. To represent the connection and the passion that GANT Rugger has for food it has a Bistro-like atmosphere. White tile wall on one side plays an important showing the cleanliness and freshness, while metal brass details and vintage furniture and fixtures such as stools, glass cabinets, benches and lamps add elegant and warm feeling to the store. A centre table made with tile, which reminds you of a kitchen island is decorated with 3 elegant vintage Arne Jacobsen lamps. This seasons them "Green Fingers" is well presented in the window and throughout the store with a lot of green plants, all decorated by Satoshi Kawamoto. (pics via GQ Japan)

And on the 7th day Fifi created Gant Rugger for woman.

On Style.com Fifi tells us how Gant Rugger for woman started:

"We’ve had a lot of girls coming into our stores, buying our menswear, and doing their thing with it. Shortly after, we did a blog post using #girlsingantrugger, girls began using this hashtag when posting pics online with their outfits. For Fall ’14, I’m happy to finally let everyone know that we are actually launching a Gant Rugger women’s line. It will hit stores in August!"

GANT STORE - WILLIAMSBURG, NY

Last month Gant opened another store in New York, at the other side of Manhattan in Williamsburg.

Williamsburg is a great locations with lots of specialty stores and great restaurants. Gant shows a full range of menswear from the Mainline collection, Gant Rugger and Gant by Michael Bastian.

Pop in and you might even find Christopher Bastian behind the stove to prepare you a burger.
