TOMBOLINI SS 2013

The well-known sign the visual identity of the brand: the Tombolini dragon, drawn by the founder revising the coat of arms of his home town, Urbisaglia, represents Saint George on horseback while he is fighting against the dragon. Through a careful graphic reinterpretation Eugenio Tombolini summarized in a single sign horseman and dragon, including the scissors element: the forelegs of the restless animal. I'M BLUE DA BA DEE

Okay Okay, I agree these pictures from The Sartorialist are most likely posted over a 1000 times, but they tell us how too look sharp in just a navy blazer and a jeans. You can smell the "sprezzatura". The big question is.........what shall we wear at Pitti this week? 

LORD HAVE JERSEY ON ME

Last Summer you could already see it on the Pitti Uomo, Florence, The Jersey Blazer whether it's in Fleece or in Pique it is a sporty elegant look. In the window you see an example of a pique double breasted blazer from Bark. (Montulet, Maastricht)

EEH OOH CAPTAIN JACK

Well, it's obvious after following the crowd at the Pitti Uomo your wardrobe for next summer looks like this: bright colored pants or white pants with blue (electric blue) blazers. You can choose for the regular 2 or 3 button version, but when you really want to show off you need to buy a double breasted blazer. Look at the beautiful Lubiam blazers in the last picture. THE CLUB BLAZER

What's a Rowing Race without a true Striped Club Blazer? 

Where the blazer is part of the dress of a school, college or sports club, these are blazers in the traditional sense, single breasted often of bright colors or with piping, it is normal for a badge to be sewn to the breast pocket. This style is also worn by some boat clubs, such as those in Cambridge or Oxford, with piped version only on special occasions such as boat club dinner. In this case, the piping is in college colors, and college buttons are worn.

BROWN vs WHITE

 

 

 

No, I don't want to talk about discrimination....For me this is a great combination, look how sophisticated those man look with their brown blazer on their (off) white pants. And the best thing is, you are never out of style, most of the pictures I lent from the Sartorialist and the oldest one is over 3 years old.
