THE BKC @ PROJECT NEW YORK

This week a small but curated fashion fair was held in New York called Project Show and one of the participants was The Brooklyn Circus also known as BKC. They showed their Fall/Winter 2012 collection of Varsity jackets & sweaters styled among trophies, helmets and other sport gear. (pics via tucked style).

THE HOMERUN JACKET

I guess this will be THE seasonal must have for Fall 2011, a varsity jacket or also known as a baseball jacket. Fashion inspired by a book called Take Ivy and already shown on the streets of New York and Milan last Fall. (The pictures are almost all posted on www.gq.com except from the second one.)

THE CLUB BLAZER

What's a Rowing Race without a true Striped Club Blazer? 

Where the blazer is part of the dress of a school, college or sports club, these are blazers in the traditional sense, single breasted often of bright colors or with piping, it is normal for a badge to be sewn to the breast pocket. This style is also worn by some boat clubs, such as those in Cambridge or Oxford, with piped version only on special occasions such as boat club dinner. In this case, the piping is in college colors, and college buttons are worn.
