GANTERIE A.BOON, ANTWERP







This Ganterie or as you wish glove store A. Boon is a pearl in Antwerp, established in 1884 it has a collection of over 10.000 pairs of gloves of the finest leather. Even Jean Paul Gaulthier knows his way to this store.
You can find it at Lombardenvest 2, near the Nationalestraat.

Today I picked,  Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York. It aims at capturing those store fronts that call to mind memories of the Old New York. The book’s creators, James and Karla Murray traveled all throughout New York from Manhattan’s Yonah Schimmel Knish Bakery and Katz’s Delicatessen to the Jackson Heights Florist in Queens, Court Street Pastry in Brooklyn, D. D’Auria and Sons Pork Store in the Bronx and the De Luca General Store on Staten Island.
