SPANISH DANDIES - MAN1924

I would like you to meet Carlos Castillo & Jorge Navares, the Spanish Dandy's of MAN1924.
Known for their Spanish Sprezzatura, well-dressed but never over-styled. They are the guys behind the Kennedy Jacket an unconstructed blazer with soft shoulders in a relax-fit.

Carlos Castillo
The founder’s grandson, took over his grandfather’s businesses in1989. The company became essential for the elite society in their country. The MAN 1924 garments are manufactured following authentic and unique designs, using meticulous tailoring processes. The result is a high quality design with an unrivalled style, which has won the heart of the industry icons, such as The Sartorialist. Carlos is without any doubt the creative soul of Man 1924.

Jorge Navares
Successor of the Navares family, Jorge has a wide experience in the tailoring and men’s fashion field. He shares his responsibilities between Man 1924 and Denis, another of the reference men’s fashion brands in this country. Jorge Navares is unmistakable for his style, and along with Carlos Castillo provides the essence of Man 1924, a firm that does not know about borders, trends or fashion.

TAGLIATORE FALL/WINTER 2016 LOOKBOOK

Tagliatore is a brand born from the family tradition of Pino Lerario the creative mind behind the brand. The sketch of a jacket as a starting point to grow and develop creative ideas: soft and linear shapes, great wearability, research and details enhancement, revers, shoulder and sleeves are the main characteristics of Tagliatore items.
Made in Italy is among the cornerstones of Tagliatore’s philosophy: the company produces 90% of its collections internally in its factory in Martina Franca, which employs 185 people and where 340 outerwear pieces are made every day. But it also relies on a series of small companies and laboratories in the surrounding area to which it entrusts the production of some products -- pants, for example -- and special workmanship.

HACKETT @ PITTI UOMO, STILE DANDY

As always the presentation of Hackett is great. Lots of tweeds jackets. fair-isle sweaters, checked shirts. Fall/Winter 2012 will be a cozy British styled winter. It's nice to see how you can make a printed shirt as in the first picture stylish. (pics via Il Club di Stilemaschile)
