DOUBLE RL @ THE RHINELANDER MANSION

Believe it or not, but I'm jealous, no seriously it's great to see that Michael Williams ftom the blog ACL gets the first glimpse of the Double RL department in the Rhinelander Mansion. For me it's like you put a child in a toyshop. This is for me an example, how tocreate a perfect shopping experience. For the full coverage from ACL you can click here.

TENUE DE NIMES, AMSTERDAM

Today, I visted in Amsterdam the Red Wing Store and the store where it all started 2 years ago Tenue de Nimes. It was a great experience not only both shops look like a million dollar also the crew was very nice and helpfull and most of all proud of "their" store. You can find Tenue de Nimes at the Elandsgracht 60. When you visit the store don't forget to grab a Journal de Nimes. Check the site of Tenue de Nimes.

YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR HAT ON (THE FALL ISSUE)

In the old days you could find, driving caps everywhere in England, there was a time that it was a law for the working class to wear a cap on Sundays and holidays to support the wool industry. For this Fall/Winter it will only be a fashion law to wear one yourself.

IT HAS BEEN SHIPPED.

Today, I received the confirmation from Amazon.com that my copy of Take Ivy has been shipped, finally. This is the reprint the original was publised in Japan in 1965. Take Ivy is now considered a definitive document of this particular style, and rare original copies are highly sought by "trad" devotees worldwide who pay a fortune for it. Check out GQ for more pictures.
