J.CREW FALL/WINTER 2015 LOOKS

The Inspiration for the J.Crew Men's Fall/Winter 2015 was found in a trip Frank Muytjens made to a vintage Army & Navy show in the south of England. As you can see the color palette is on green, khaki and navy blues, with military details such as wool cargo pants. I love those pop-over shirts in camel and navy.

I WANT YOU AND I WANT YOU NOW!

US Navy recruitment posters are as old as the USA. Famous artists like J.C. Leyendecker made this patriotic art, with brave man fighting for their country and seeing the world. The colors of those posters are mostly done in red, white and blue referring to the colors of the flag.
Unfortunately are those recruitment posters of all time even today, they are more necessary then ever. It's a scary situation out there.

JOIN THE NAVY

Serge van Bemmel started Navy International Agency in january 2012, after working for Replay for almost 15 years. In a 2 story apartment in the South East of Amsterdam he created his showrooms, for brands like Aspesi, Red Seal, Soho and Brooks Brothers. One room is fully dedicated to Ernest Hemingway, as you can tell from the pictures of the bearded writer, but also typewriters and hunting gear tell the story of Ernest. The second floor is fully Nautical inspired. Pond boats, vintage outboard motors and even sailing gear like a boom is hanging from the ceiling. It ain't difficult to see that this showroom even without collection is very inspiring. So come and join the Navy.......

JUST BAG IT!

Found these bags in a Japanese site called Kapital, I don't know whether it is a brand or just a store, nevermind I liked those bags.
