Wow, just one word I really enjoyed my time in Paris, met a lot of nice and interesting people
and saw some amazing new FW 14 collections. Above you see the first part of a selection of pictures I took @ Capsule Paris. I really was blown away of the new Filson - Nigel Cabourn collab.
Some very interesting items for a great price. Furthermore the collection of Gloverall looks great and what to say about those Eat Dust boots. Stay tuned for more in the coming days.

YOU STOLE MY HART(FORD)

Hartford, showed their Fall/Winter Collection at Pitti Uomo. This France based brand has an excellent feeling for style. Their combination of preppy and the rugged outdoors is inspired by reinventing traditional fashion into something modern. Military coats cut from Saville Row tailors, fatigue pants borrowed from the US Navy, an old school shirt in faded oxford stripe, a fair isle sweater recreated to be fresh and new for this decade. A Duffle coat is a short coat, with or without a hood, first worn during the Second World War by the men of the British Royal Navy. Cut to hip or kneelength, the coat was made of a heavy woollen felted material and fastened with rod-shaped wooden toggles that passed through rope or leatherloops. Surplus duffle coats were sold to the public after the war.

RUGGED AMERICA?

No, this ain't coming from the States and not even from Japan, it's "un marque" from France.
Hartford showed their Fall 10 collection at the Bread & Butter in Berlin and as you can see, they really looked at the brands from Japan and America and they give the Rugged American Outdoor a French flair.
