FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB NEW YORK

Freemans Sporting Club, New York is always a stop for me when I'm in New York.

This small little men's shop annex barber in Lower East Side was started by a group of friends who were just casually whipping up bespoke American-made suits for their friends (after opening the cozy and wonderful Freemans restaurant). A men’s clothing store that’s fond of the whole “make local, buy local” ethos, Freemans SC is keeping the vanishing art of handmade goods alive since 2007. Look at all those different lampshades! Oh... by the way, I don't stop just for the store, make sure your there around lunchtime and enjoy a meal at Freemans restaurant. (pics via Kinfolk)

Best kept Secret in Lower East Side, New York.

Only hipsters and odd celeb know about Freemans. Hidden at the end of Freeman Alley is the intimate bar and restaurant. When I was in New York in February and strolling through Rivington checking out Freeman's Sporting Club I saw this cozy restaurant. I felt like, I was the first person who ever find this place. The food is great, prices reasonable and the service very nice. The Hunting lodge decor is unexpected in the middle of the city.
