CHAD @ THE AMSTERDAM DENIM DAYS 2016

I had a lot of fun yesterday at the Amsterdam Denim Days. Today will be the last day of this blue event which took over Amsterdam for about a week. The Blueprint show at the Westergasfabriek was one of the highlights with brands like, Denham, Lee, K.O.I., Scotch & Soda, G-Star, Tommy Denim and Calvin Klein the only brand which just show white denim. But also the Jean School of Amsterdam, Red Wing and such are present. Highlights of the day are the portrait of Ayrton Senna by Ian Berry and an exhibition by the Vintage Showroom, London with a theme called the Dust Bowl.  If you have the time today and you are in Amsterdam stop by to check for yourself.

INSPIRATION NYC - VOL. 7 BY RIN TANAKA

This past weekend (October 16th & 17Th) Rin Tanaka brought his Vintage fair from the West Coast to New York City.
The two-day show brings together over international vendors and exhibitors offering unique and one-of-a-kind merchandise on exhibit and for sale—including American vintage apparel manufactured from the 1900s-1980s, vintage-inspired-to-contemporary fashions and accessories from boutique and corporate American and Japanese companies, surf and skate exhibitors, plus artists and artisans, hot-rods, antiques, records and audio equipement, as well as live music.
I wish I scheduled my trip to NYC for this weekend, unfortunately you can't have it all. Inspiration LA is coming up next year, so maybe...... (pics via gear patrol)

THE LOW SHOW, AMSTERDAM - FIRST EDITION

Today was the kick off of the very first edition of The Low Show, Amsterdam.
A mens fair only with brands from the USA like Red Wing, Filson, Tanner Goods, TOPO, Tellason.
And brands from Europe like Fjallraven, Barbour, Globetrotter, Benzak Denim, Red, Free Rain, Manifattura Ceccarelli, Midori and many more. With the Westergas Fabriek as a location and a bunch of brands with history, authenticity and quality, initiator Kenneth Jaworski set the tone for something with a lot of potential for the coming seasons.
