During my recent trip to the States, I visited the Polo Ralph Lauren Store situated in Ceasar's Palace Casino. I had the pleasure to be able to take some pictures of this nicely decorated store. It really breaths the West and the Outdoors, with the Navajo rugs, the beautiful painted canoe's and the stone fire place in the middle. For sure this ain't gambling!

THE NEON BONEYARD PARK - LAS VEGAS, NV
When I think of Las Vegas, my memories are going back to its glittering lights. Plus I think about the world's most famous neon attraction. Designed by Betty Willis, the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada" sign has been greeting visitors at the southern end of the Strip since 1959.
Neon signs, introduced in Las Vegas in 1929 at the Oasis CafĂ© on Fremont Street, enjoyed their heyday between the 1930s – 1980s. But as LED and LCD screens began taking over the Las Vegas Strip, many of the old signs were removed. About 20 years ago people from the Allied Arts Council and Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO), the manufacturer responsible for creating a number of the city's neon pieces, began collecting and preserving the old signs.
The Neon Museum was officially established in 1996, the city allocated space in downtown on the east side of Las Vegas Boulevard for the Neon Boneyard. YESCO then donated its retired signs to the fledgling organization. About 40 percent of the Neon Museum's collection originated there, and items from newly imploded or remodeled properties are added continually.
The Neon Museum's visitors center is located adjacent to the curated collection of signs at the boneyard. The center is in the rehabilitated La Concha Motel lobby, the seashell-shaped, Mid-Century Modern building designed and built by architect Paul Revere Williams. The La Concha used to be located on the Las Vegas Strip next to the Riviera. It was saved from demolition in 2005 and relocated to the Boneyard to become the visitors center.

CHAD'S ROAD TRIP THROUGH THE SOUTH-WEST
I travelled through 4 different States, drove over 3250 miles, visited 11 National Parks, 4 State Parks
and 2 Native American Parks. Did a Hamburger contest and the Umami Burger won. Lost some money in a slot machine called The Hangover and I saw Las Vegas from above no not from a plane or helicopter, but from the New York New York Roller coaster. The highlight of my trip was a hike through Arches National Park, the hike was 8 miles, climbing over rocks and heaving the feeling that you walked on the rim of the world made this hike unforgettable.

KEMO SABE - THE WILD WEST IN SIN CITY
"Kemo Sabe" is a Native American word which means faithful friend, and that's the way
Tom & Nancy Yoder like you to feel when you enter their store. They opened their first store in Aspen in 1990 and since October this year they have a "trading post" in Las Vegas. This is Cowboy heaven, you find here everything from top to toe or better said from hat to boot and everything in between.
At the Stetson Hat Bar they even can customize your brand new hat with sweat stains and bullet holes.
As the Las Vegas Rodeo was in town, you could find a lot of Cowboys in the store as you can see in the picture with the trophy bull. Do you know what you see in the last picture………? No, that's not your cup of tea, that's what they call the balls of the bull.
