MY TOP 5 FALL LOOKS

As summer is coming to an end, I show you my all time favourite Fall looks, shot by Mr Schuman from The Sartorialist, some pictures ar already several years old, but that's why it is style and not fashion.

The above slogan from The Hatch Brothers, started their print shop in 1879 in Nashville, Tn.

Hatch Show Print is one of the oldest running letterpress print shop in America. They still use the original letters, which had been hand carved over 100 years ago on their prints and you can see the little imperfection in the letters from years of use. There is also great book about the history of Hatch Show Print with great pictures of their work.

(Note: for sure that the first 2 images don't have a Hatch Show Print poster, but they are the inspiration for me to write about this.)

Johnatan Ward is the designer and owner of Icon. It all started in 1996 as a Landcruiser Service Center. After building some prototypes for Toyota, he decided to start his own brand Icon. The list price start at usd 105.000,-- , but if you want some extra's you can easily end up at usd 140.000,--

I think I have to check the site of autotrader frequently to buy me an original Land Cruiser FJ 40, or maybe they will be too expensive for me aswell.

MICHAEL BASTIAN X GANT, SS 2011

Yesterday, Michael Bastian and GANT presented their collaboration for Spring/Summer 2011in New York. The collection is based on 3 characters, like there is Marilyn Monroe as The Bombshell, Arthur Miller as the nerdy guy and last but not least Joe Dimaggio, the sporty guy.
