Today, I received the lookbook pictures of the Windsor Spring Summer 2013 collection. As I already wrote in a previous post about Windsor @the Bread & Butter I'm positive surprised by their Spring/Summer collection. Man I love those washed cotton blazers. No, Windsor is not just a name for a tie-knot, it's a full collection of classy menswear.

UNKEMPT SPREZZATURA - GANT RUGGER
Finally it's online - the Fall/Winter campaign of GANT RUGGER.
For Fall/Winter 2012, GANT Rugger seeks inspiration from the buzzing restaurant scene of downtown New York. Revolving around the chef and owner of the GANT Rugger guy’s favorite restaurant, the collection blends workwear and tailoring to culinary perfection. A bit more dressy and polished, this collection features the largest number of tailored pieces yet for GANT Rugger. The collection is divided into two themes, the dressy Unkempt Sprezzatura and more casual Mise En Place.

FJALLRAVEN - WAX IN, WAX OUT
After a Swedish climbing expedition to Greenland in 1966, it became obvious that the selection of outdoor clothing was much to limited. Using an unusually durable fabric that had proven itself too heavy for the lightweight tents of the time, Fjällräven's founder Åke Nordin, made a climbing jacket - the first Fjällräven jacket. After adding a beeswax and paraffin mixture, the fabric turned out to be perfect for functional outdoor clothing. It was named G-1000 (G for Greenland) and the wax was called Greenland wax. I visited the showrooms of Fjällräven in Holland, during some cup's of coffee Thomas Koster told me everything about the history of the brand, the functionality of the products and showed me how G-1000 works on a remake of the first Greenland (called Greenland No 1). The brand placed waxed stations (as seen on the picture) in some major stores, just to explain to the costumer how to play around with the Greenland wax. Different weather conditions means different use of the wax. And of course they have the Kanken in the showroom as well. Pick your color whether you like funky colors or just a basic color you name it. it's there. Ps. I like the wooden sculpture of the Arctic Fox, it all comes together, the logo of the brand, outdoor and nature.

Quoddy Grizzly Boat
Quoddy Grizzly Boat Handswen Crepe Sole
Made By Hand
Quoddy footwear is made by hand in Maine. The art of handsewing shoes goes back hundreds of years in Maine, and generations for many craftspeople at Quoddy. Moccasins represent a specific approach to shoemaking; a footwear philosophy and a construction technique. Quite simply, Quoddy’s method of moccasin construction creates a shoe that functions as a glove for your foot. It surrounds your foot in supple leather, and allows your foot muscles, bones, and tendons to support you naturally as they were intended to do, while offering protection, cushioning, and style. Every Quoddy is made-to-order by an individual craftsperson. Quoddy harkens back to the time when hand-made was the norm, when output was measured in dozens, not thousands.
