For this collection filled with heritage Ralph jumped into the RL archives, made some modifications and made this collection ready for the future. The shopping street at this moment in LA isn't Rodeo Drive, but Abbot  Kinney Blvd, named after the founder of Venice. Okay you won't find here the big designer names or department stores.  The street is packed with small shops all with their own specialty and don't be afraid the diversity of restaurants take care of the belly. Get yourself seated at 3 Square Cafe for a delicious late breakfast, one dozen quail eggs with green onions,tomato,pancetta and toast. 

1901 'CARSON' OXFORD

I bought these "greenish" pair of Oxford shoes at Nordstrom. It was hard to find a shoe like this for a price that kept me able to eat and drink for the rest of the holiday. No Alden cordovan's or McNary Long wings for me, but 1901 'Carson' Oxford for only US 99,95.

CHAD @ THE GANT RUGGER STORE

It's not the first time I write something about the Gant Rugger Store, but this time I really know what I'm writing about. Om my trip to the USA I stopped by in this "great" store, no it ain't big at all, but I think it is the right size for a Gant Rugger store. It gives you the right feeling about what the Rugger collection is all about. In the fitting room is this slogan "First we take Manhattan..." For sure, Gant Rugger is on the right track.

Yes, I've got them in green even before they are released. These kicks are a collaboration between J.Crew and New Balance. The New Balance 1400' s were originally released in 1994. This exclusive run is only available in 2 colors a navy and green and only at J.Crew. Each pair is crafted in the States at the New Balance factory in  Skowhegan, Maine.
