THE THIRD PLACE
When I was in Brooklyn last October, I saw this coffee shop called Seersucker. I didn't went in, but I imagine that it looks like this. This place could easily be my third place. Anybody else who want's a coffee?

Last year, Rin Tanaka released number 9 of his well read serie my Freedamn. And yesterday I bought my copy of it in Antwerp, now the collection is complete again. Rin Tanaka was born in 1970 in Japan and became a photographer and a journalist, he went to college in the state of Mississippi and in 1994 he started his research in the history of the motorcycle jacket and accessories. He became the curator of vintage. Since 2003 he start writing about the history of American clothing. You can buy your copy on line at Tenue de Nimes.

Shingle style houses, nautical inspired interior, cozy and homey feeling......This must be the Gant Home collection for Spring 2011, shot in the Summerhouse of Robert F. Kennedy jr., in Hyannis Port on Cape Cod. 1 + 1 = 2 this is American East Coast at it's best.

OH LA LA GOYARD C'EST BEAU
In 1853, one year before Louis Vuitton was founded, Francois Goyard took over a trunkmaking workshop where he formed what is now known as Maison E. Goyard - the "E" being a homage to his father Edme. The Goyard's famous "Y" chevron pattern representing the Goyard family tree. The fabric has a pattern of three chevrons, placed together to form the letter "Y". Today you can order your bag with your initials or stripes in your favorite colors. Whenever you are in Paris visit the shop at 352 Rue St. Honore.
