Today "Sinterklaas" will arrive in Holland on a steamship from Spain, from today till the 5th of December children will sing a song called "Sinterklaas kapoentje, gooi wat in mijn schoenje" and put their shoes at the fire place. Hoping that "Sinterklaas" or his helper "Zwarte Piet" put a gift in it. "Sinterklaas" is the dutch name for St. Nicolas, the bishop of Myra. This bishop became the begining of Santa Claus which is well known around the world. Tonight I will also put my Red Wing boots size 11 at the fire place let's see what happens.........
